The Effective Federal Tax Rate looks at the % of income paid to the Federal Government at different incomes groups. In the graph below you can see how the percentage has changed over the last 30 years:

  • I think the most interesting part of this information is that the tax plan would raise the tax rates to what they were 30 years ago. It would have been neat to see that projected on the graph, instead of having to extend the lines in my head.
